Shui Li is a registered patent attorney with experience counseling clients on complex intellectual property and technology monetization campaigns. Shui began her career as a chemist at the University of Minnesota where she researched anti-cancer agents based on nucleic acid analogs. The scientific training allows Shui to successfully navigate complex patent matters involving a variety of technology areas including semiconductors, telecommunication, and chemistry.
Shui’s practice primarily focuses on patent litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation matters. She recently represented the petitioner in the first instituted derivation proceeding in the PTAB.
